Maintenance Engineer
Job description
The Maintenance Engineer position centres on troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC, mechanical and process problems with equipment as needed or directed by Maintenance Manager. It would suit someone who can bring proactive in addressing inefficiencies of production equipment to the role.

This is a highly skilled position that involves a combination of electrical and mechanical duties. Able to troubleshoot and program machine logic systems.
Where the technical work sits
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC, mechanical and process problems with equipment as needed or directed by Maintenance Manager.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment including power and control wiring, motors, controls, electronic devices, PLC’s and building electrical maintenance.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment to meet or exceed company established Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) expectations and customer quality expectations.
Technical requirements
- Experience providing reactive and PPM maintenance to production machinery.
- Any experience with controls / PLC’s is highly advantageous.
- Experienced in working on manufacturing or automated machinery.
