MAINTENANCE FITTER

Maintenance Fitter focuses on carry out both planned preventative maintenance (ppm) and reactive breakdown repairs.

What the role involves

• Carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Work on a wide range of plant and equipment in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with a team of multi skilled Maintenance Engineers.
• Ensure equipment operates efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum.

Skills and requirements

• Formal mechanical engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Ideally apprentice trained in a mechanically.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing, heavy engineering, or industrial environment.
• Strong problem solving skills and a hands-on approach to mechanical maintenance.

• Commutable from Stourbridge, Blackheath, Cradley Heath, Dudley, Lye and Rowley Regis.
