Maintenance Manager focuses on develop in-house and contracted maintenance teams, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, performance, and competency.

What the role involves

  • Develop in-house and contracted maintenance teams, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, performance, and competency.
  • Managing all planned shutdowns and major outages, including planning, budgeting, contractor management, execution, and close-out.
  • Direct maintenance response to emergent work and asset issues, ensuring effective prioritisation and communication.
  • Overseeing maintenance strategy, asset integrity, reliability improvement, and lifecycle planning.
  • Managing maintenance budgets, contracts, stores, and critical spare parts inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards, including COMAH, PSSR, DSEAR, ATEX, PUWER, Electricity at Work Regulations, and functional safety requirements.

Skills and requirements

  • Significant maintenance management experience within a high-hazard process industry such as oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, LNG, or similar.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing CMMS systems and maintenance data governance.
  • Process, and/or control & instrumentation disciplines.
  • Technical expertise across mechanical, electrical.
