What the role involves
- Develop in-house and contracted maintenance teams, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, performance, and competency.
- Managing all planned shutdowns and major outages, including planning, budgeting, contractor management, execution, and close-out.
- Direct maintenance response to emergent work and asset issues, ensuring effective prioritisation and communication.
- Overseeing maintenance strategy, asset integrity, reliability improvement, and lifecycle planning.
- Managing maintenance budgets, contracts, stores, and critical spare parts inventories.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards, including COMAH, PSSR, DSEAR, ATEX, PUWER, Electricity at Work Regulations, and functional safety requirements.
Skills and requirements
- Significant maintenance management experience within a high-hazard process industry such as oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, LNG, or similar.
- Proven experience implementing and managing CMMS systems and maintenance data governance.
- Process, and/or control & instrumentation disciplines.
- Technical expertise across mechanical, electrical.
