What the role involves

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on plumbing and heating systems.
  • Repair faults including leaks, blockages and appliance issues.
  • Install and service domestic appliances such as boilers, hot water cylinders and air source heat pumps.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on system care and maintenance.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and material usage.

Skills and requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in heating system installation, maintenance or repair.
  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
  • G3 Unvented qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving ability.
