The Role
Are you enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about making a difference? AmegA Sciences is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our facilities, services, and equipment.
Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, you will support both AmegA Sciences and Lawford Heath, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities across production and facility environments. The role is fully site-based and offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
The Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Operative, your responsibilities will include:
Perform on-site alarm testing and monitoring (no remote monitoring).
Carry out general facility maintenance works across the site to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
Liaise with and supervise external contractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the required standard.
Identify improvement opportunities and support the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of maintenance or facility improvement projects.
