Maintenance Supervisor, RME

This Maintenance Supervisor, RME role is focused on carrying out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse. It would suit someone who can bring supporting site-by-site logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards to the role.

From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing the general maintenance of a site to repairing key distribution equipment, our team handles most aspects of Amazon’s techn. Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipment performing at its best.

Main responsibilities

Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse. Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment. Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.

Requirements

• Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
• Experience with material handling and processing.

Job details

• In every shift, you’ll be leading a team to make sure everyone has the equipment they need and that it’s running properly.
• Work shift patterns, which may include some weekends and nights.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.
• That involves monitoring processes so that regulations and policies are followed and ensuring that preventative maintenance is carried out to increase equipment uptime.
