Maintenance Team Lead/Senior Supervisor

Maintenance Team Lead/Senior Supervisor focuses on monitor teams to ensure everyone follows the correct processes.

What the role involves

• Monitor teams to ensure everyone follows the correct processes.
• Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Supporting in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardise processes across the EU network.
• In every shift, you’ll be leading a team to make sure everyone has the equipment they need and that it’s running properly.
• Work shift patterns, which may include some weekends and nights.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ Level 3/ SVQ Level 3/ IVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3/EAL Level 3 all specialized in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance.

Additional role context

• Repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres.
• From installing systems to overseeing the general maintenance of a site to repairing key distribution equipment, our team handles most aspects of Amazon’s technical side.
• We often work during early or late hours to carry out maintenance with minimal disruption, including night shifts.
