Management Accountant

Management Accountant focuses on data accuracy & ledger oversight — ensure all financial information processed into the accounts is accurate, raising issues with the ledger manager and supporting timely resolution.

What the role involves

• Data Accuracy & Ledger Oversight — Ensure all financial information processed into the accounts is accurate, raising issues with the Ledger Manager and supporting timely resolution.
• Lead discussions with the Senior Finance Manager, Financial Controller, and FP&A to support informed decision‑making.
• Senior Stakeholder Reporting — Prepare reports.
• Processing & Control Improvement — Continuously review financial processes and internal controls to ensure best practice is maintained and communicated across relevant teams.
• Cross‑Departmental Understanding — Develop a strong understanding of how each department operates to better interpret financial results.
• Compliance with Accounting Standards — Ensure all reporting and accounting treatments adhere to appropriate accounting standards and internal policies.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant finance, accounts, payroll, Excel, bookkeeping, or accounting-system experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Up to £40,000 per year.
