Management Accountant

Management Accountant focuses on preparation (along side the finance team) of monthly management accounts including posting journals.

What the role involves

• Preparation (along side the finance team) of monthly management accounts including posting journals.
• Investigation and explanation of variances in the Management Accounts.
• Ensure we maximise revenue by highlighting and investigating assets that are not being hired.
• Assisting with group reporting packs and helping to ensure they are completed and submitted on time.
• Assisting with the external audits of the company.
• Assisting with annual budgeting and regular forecasts for both internal and external requirements.

Skills and requirements

• Experience in both the production of management accounts and implementation of processes.
• Strong knowledge of MS packages, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups) and Word.
