Managing Quantity Surveyor focuses on managing all commercial aspects of projects from initial tender through to final account.

What the role involves

  • Managing all commercial aspects of projects from initial tender through to final account.
  • Preparing, negotiate and agree subcontract and supplier packages.
  • Monitoring project costs, valuations, forecasts and cashflow to ensure strong financial performance.
  • Leading on the preparation of applications for payment.
  • Identify, value and agree variations and change control items.
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, designers and clients to support smooth project delivery.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant CSCS, trade, site, surveying, construction, or project experience may be required.
