What the role involves

  • Ensure robust cost estimates aligned with project scope.
  • Support commercial and procurement strategies alongside Senior Buyers.
  • Ensure tender processes are followed correctly.
  • Ensure subcontracts are accurately prepared, reflect agreed scope, and are managed in line with contractual requirements.
  • Provide accurate live forecasting aligned to the project programme and WBS/CBS.
  • Monitoring actual costs against baseline estimates, challenging variances where required.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant CSCS, trade, site, surveying, construction, or project experience may be required.
