Manufactoring Coordinator focuses on test electronic and mechanical components for environmental monitoring and iot systems.

What the role involves

  • Test electronic and mechanical components for environmental monitoring and IoT systems.
  • Follow build procedures and checklists to ensure consistent product quality and traceability.
  • Perform functional testing, calibration, and configuration of sensors, communication modules (GSM, LoRa, NB-IoT, Satellite), and power systems.
  • Conduct field installations, servicing, and trials across the UK (company van provided).
  • Supporting packing, logistics, and quality control for outgoing orders.
  • Maintaining accurate records of production activities, stock levels, and component usage.

Skills and requirements

  • Background or qualification in electronics, engineering, or a technical discipline (college-level or higher).
  • Practical experience using hand tools, soldering equipment, or electrical testing devices.
  • Comfortable working in both workshop and field environments, often autonomously.
  • Basic understanding of electronics, wiring, and assembly procedures.

Additional role context

  • Be technically minded, practical, and comfortable working both independently on-site and collaboratively within a small, dynamic team.
