What the role involves
- Involve both hands-on technical support and strategic process improvement activities across CNC and manual machining operations.
- Update manufacturing methods, tooling details, setup instructions.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Supporting daily manufacturing activities, resolving machining.
- Provide ongoing support to machine shop operations to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Skills and requirements
- HNC/HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a Manufacturing Engineer position within a machining environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC and manual machining processes, including milling and turning.
- CNC programming experience using Siemens, Mazak, and/or Heidenhain controls.
