What the role involves

  • Involve both hands-on technical support and strategic process improvement activities across CNC and manual machining operations.
  • Update manufacturing methods, tooling details, setup instructions.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Supporting daily manufacturing activities, resolving machining.
  • Provide ongoing support to machine shop operations to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Skills and requirements

  • HNC/HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a Manufacturing Engineer position within a machining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC and manual machining processes, including milling and turning.
  • CNC programming experience using Siemens, Mazak, and/or Heidenhain controls.
