Manufacturing Equipment Technician focuses on repair a wide variety of fluke equipment to ensure adherence to defined specifications and quality standards.

What the role involves

  • Repair a wide variety of Fluke equipment to ensure adherence to defined specifications and quality standards.
  • As required by the Production Team Leader, assess/sign calibration certificates for defined products.
  • Standard Work Instructions, 5S Standards, Safe Systems of Work, or Engineering Drawings.
  • Responsible for adherence to defined processes in the assigned work area, including but not limited to.
  • As appropriate, train fellow Operatives/Technicians on defined processes as requested by the relevant Production Team Leader.
  • Record and/or escalate fault(s) to Team Leaders/Manufacturing Engineering/Metrology/Quality Engineer(s) as required.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

  • technical judgement, safe working habits, careful diagnostics, and practical problem-solving

Additional role context

  • Be part of a team of 8 Manufacturing Equipment Technicians, working on the repair and maintenance of manufactured Electrical and/or RF Calibration products.
  • The team is made up of people from diverse backgrounds and previous career fields, all bringing their unique experiences to the processes of analysis, diagnosis.
  • Previous work with precise electronic circuitry and components.
