Material Planner

Material Planner focuses on plan and order materials in line with production requirements using mrp and sap systems.

What the role involves

• Plan and order materials in line with production requirements using MRP and SAP systems.
• Ensure continuity of supply to meet production schedules.
• Managing stock levels across third-party logistics (3PL) partners and central warehouse.
• Optimise material deliveries and inventory levels in line with business targets.
• Build strong relationships to proactively resolve issues and improve performance.
• Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure on-time deliveries.

Skills and requirements

• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in inventory optimisation or supply chain improvement.
• Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline (desirable).
• A collaborative approach and ability to build trust.
