What the role involves

• Inspect, and book in deliveries of raw materials and engineering components.
• Maintain a wide range of materials, including aluminium, steel, and other production materials.
• Ensure full material traceability is maintained through accurate labelling, certification control, and stock records.
• Picking and issue materials to production in line with manufacturing requirements.
• Carry out regular stock checks and perpetual inventory counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate stock records using the company's ERP and inventory management systems.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience working within a stores, warehouse, materials, or engineering environment.
• Understanding of goods-in processes, stock control, and inventory accuracy.
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence preferred but not essential.
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
