This Maths and Science Teacher role is focused on create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation and enthusiasm for learning. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Where ownership sits
Standard working hours include teaching periods, preparation time, and participation in school activities, with occasional evening or weekend commitments for events or meetings. Experience teaching both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
What the role carries
Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation and enthusiasm for learning. Collaborate with colleagues, including subject leaders and pastoral staff, to support pupils’ academic progress and well-being. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to maintain and improve teaching standards.
What the role depends on
- Experience in preparing pupils for GCSE examinations or equivalent assessments.
- In mentoring or supporting newly qualified teachers or pupils requiring additional support.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or eligibility to obtain QTS within the United Kingdom.
Practical details
- The salary for this position ranges from £130 to £220 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- Shift pattern: Weekends.
