Maths Teacher focuses on delivering tutor time activities, including pshe and personal development.

What the role involves

• Delivering tutor time activities, including PSHE and personal development.
• Build positive relationships with students, supporting their personal and academic progress.
• Liaise with families regarding student progress, attendance, and wellbeing.
• Supporting students’ social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the safeguarding and pastoral teams.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages.
• Support delivery of additional subject areas (e.g. Computing) where appropriate.
• Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners, including students with SEN.
• Monitor, and track student progress, providing regular feedback.
