M&E Operative focuses on undertake scheduled maintenance, reactive repairs, and new installations using appropriate trade skills.

What the role involves

• Undertake scheduled maintenance, reactive repairs, and new installations using appropriate trade skills.
• Maintaining qualifications and training to meet safe working practices and take on Competent Person duties.
• Record hazards and near misses promptly.
• Support contractor access, and aim for first-time fixes.
• Assisting with materials ordering.
• Carry out water system maintenance and legionella control as a Water Hygiene Competent Person.

Confirmed role details

• Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm.

Additional role context

• This role involves delivering planned, reactive, and proactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, alongside building fabric repairs, all in line with the sites PPM s.
• Apply your trade skills to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery as part of the Hard FM team.
• Experienced in M&E maintenance within a facilities management environment.
