M&E Storeman - Commercial Project
Location: Central London
Duration: 12 months
Start: Immediate
Hours: Monday to Friday (full-time)
Rate: £20.00 - £23.00 per hour
The Opportunity
A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced M&E Storeman to support a major commercial construction project in Central London.
This is a long-term opportunity on a busy site, ideal for someone with strong organisation skills and a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical materials and site operations.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing materials and deliveries on site, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers and site teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, checking, and organising deliveries
- Managing storage and distribution of M&E materials
- Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records
- Coordinating with site teams and subcontractors
- Ensuring materials are available to meet project timelines
- Keeping the store area organised, safe, and compliant
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Storeman on M&E or building services projects
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials
- Valid CSCS
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Reliable and proactive approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
