What the role involves

• Be to focus on Mechanical Maintenance in the factory, including.
• Working through a planned preventative maintenance program as well as project and continuous improvement work.
• There is a lot of future planned projects involving upgrades and refurbs that all Engineers get a hand in doing.
• Reactive maintenance, working at pace attending to and resolving breakdowns swiftly and getting production lines back up and running again.

Skills and requirements

• Time served apprentice or mechanical engineering qualification.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance or mechanical fitting work, within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
• Any experience of belts, chains, bearings, pumps, motors, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics would be desirable.
• Heavy plant/machinery experience would be great but not essential.

Confirmed role details

• Type: Permanent.
• £48,000 - £50,000 Per Annum Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Days and Nights.
• £48,000 to £49,000 per annum + overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0 AND benefits.
• 2 shifts on days (7am to 7pm), 2 shifts on nights (7pm to 7am), then four off.
