Mechanic (MOT Tester)

The Mechanic (MOT Tester) position centres on carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards, ensuring all inspections are completed accurately and efficiently. It would suit someone who can bring reliability, clear communication, and practical judgement to the role.

This is a permanent role with an immediate start available for the right candidate. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm (with an early finish on Fridays) and there’s no weekend work.

What you would be doing

Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards, ensuring all inspections are completed accurately and efficiently. Carry out pre-MOT inspections and advise on any remedial work needed. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining safety and compliance at all times.
