Mechanic Technician II

Mechanic Technician II focuses on as a mechanical technician, you will assist with the rebuild, commissioning, and maintenance of a wide range of oilfield equipment.

What the role involves

• As a Mechanical Technician, you will assist with the rebuild, commissioning, and maintenance of a wide range of oilfield equipment.
• Assisting with the rebuild of cementing equipment in the Aberdeen workshop.
• Perform maintenance, inspection, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of Halliburton equipment, including.
• O 12/24V electrical systems.
• Install and/or replace new or reconditioned parts to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Conduct functional testing and verification of equipment readiness following maintenance or rebuild activities.

Skills and requirements

• Technical School certificate or equivalent in a mechanical discipline.
• Approximately 5 years’ experience in a related mechanical, maintenance, or oilfield services role (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with rigging and lifting operations.
• Forklift truck licence.
