• Clean pile cloth filter panels using manual and mechanical methods, including brushing, washing, and chemical treatments.
• Inspect filter cloths for wear, damage, fouling or reduced flow.
• Carry out routine checks on filter rotation, wash cycles and backwash performance.
• Supporting technicians with the setup, shutdown and monitoring of pile cloth filtration systems.
• Report flow restrictions, increased headloss or abnormal filter performance.

Skills and requirements

• Service Technician Technician the role does involve travellign between sites so a driving licence is essential also a minimum Green CSCS card is required.
• Practical experience in physical or mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Experience working in a wastewater treatment works or within the UK water industry.
• Basic mechanical skills or maintenance background.
