Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer focuses on supporting delivery of mechanical and plant equipment design solutions for smr applications.

What the role involves

• Supporting delivery of mechanical and plant equipment design solutions for SMR applications.
• Manage technical requirements for plant equipment packages.
• Review technical deliverables including specifications, calculations.
• Supporting concept and detailed design activities for miscellaneous plant equipment systems.
• Apply modularisation and standardisation principles to equipment design solutions.
• Coordinating with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure technical integration and compliance.

Skills and requirements

• Experience developing equipment designs from concept through detailed definition.
• Ability to manage technical scope.
• Experience producing and reviewing technical engineering documentation.
• Manage priorities and escalate technical risks appropriately.

Confirmed role details

• 2 days in one of the sites.
• Experience Level: 3- 10 YOE.
