What the role involves

• Produce mechanical building services designs, calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
• Assisting in the delivery of coordinated and compliant HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Preparing technical documentation to support project delivery.
• Use CAD, BIM (Revit) and mechanical calculation software to produce high-quality engineering solutions.
• Supporting compliance with relevant UK regulations, standards, and client requirements.
• Undertake site surveys, inspections, defect reporting, and witnessing activities with support from senior engineers.

Skills and requirements

• Experience within mechanical building services design. Candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered, including those suitable for an Intermediate Mechanical Engi.
• Relevant qualification such as a Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous involvement in site inspections, surveys, or project delivery support.
• Support towards professional chartership (EngTech/IEng/CEng).
