Mechanical Engineer focuses on supporting multiple projects and teams with direct design and delivery activities for all phases of a project or a number of projects.

What the role involves

• Supporting multiple projects and teams with direct design and delivery activities for all phases of a project or a number of projects.
• Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations.
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
• Contributes to the development of technical proposals.

Skills and requirements

• Communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentations.
• Relevant experience in building services electrical engineering design, including areas such as specification writing, calculations, and developing. Conversant with UK codes and pr.
• BSc or BEng in an Engineering degree or MEng in an Engineering degree with engineering accreditation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.

Additional role context

• We are specifically looking to appoint an electrical engineer who has a minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical building services design.
• Some design experience and knowledge is required for heating and cooling pipework systems, ventilation systems and control systems.
• 16 engineers, with the intention of growing over the next few years.
