Mechanical Engineer II
Mechanical Engineer II focuses on production of detailed 3d models and construction drawings.
What the role involves
- Production of detailed 3D models and construction drawings.
- Supporting commissioning and validation exercises.
- Perform site inspection, testing, and commissioning of equipment and facilities as required, which may include travel within the UK and abroad.
- Maintain expert level skills in required software packages including REVIT, Excel, Word, etc.
- Exercise excellent independent judgement and initiative to complete design tasks.
- Work independently and in a team environment based upon Merrick’s hybrid arrangement comprised of office (future), remote, and Onsite work.
Skills and requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years related experience, preferred eight (8) years related experience.
- Laboratory design and construction knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience in energy modeling and life cycle cost analysis for sustainability design is an asset.
- Candidate shall be proficient in report writing including basis of design reports, specifications, field reports, etc.
