Mechanical Engineer focuses on produce mechanical building services engineering designs from concept design through to construction issue and site supervision.

What the role involves

  • Produce Mechanical building services engineering designs from concept design through to construction issue and site supervision.
  • Execute projects within defined design, programme and cost parameters.
  • Design risk assessments, reports and drawings.
  • Conduct design quality reviews/audits as required.
  • Assisting with processes for the development of staff in order to enhance the standards, expertise and reputation of AECOM.
  • Monitoring emerging legislation and engineering standards relating to electrical building services.

Skills and requirements

  • Mechanical Building Services degree qualified with CEng (or working towards).
  • Proficient in the use of Hevacomp design or other appropriate software.
  • Familiar with and good working experience of BIM level 2 drawing outputs required for 3D modelling in Revit software.
  • Knowledge of Water Regs, CoPs and CIBSE Design Guides.
