Mechanical Field Service focuses on carry out planned preventative maintenance (ppm) inspections and servicing activities.

What the role involves

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections and servicing activities.
  • Perform remedial works, repairs, and project installations on fuel and liquid management systems.
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain, modify, and decommission pipework systems and associated equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers while representing the business professionally.

Skills and requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a mechanical engineering, maintenance, or installation environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance, Engineering Installation, or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to obtain security clearances, including DBS and higher-level government clearances where required.

Confirmed role details

  • Average 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 6:00am and 6:00pm.

Additional role context

  • Repair works at a variety of customer sites throughout the UK.
