What the role involves

• As a Mechanical Craftsperson, you will play a key role in delivering high standards of maintenance, inspection, and fault resolution to support safe and reliable production.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Repair faults on plant equipment.
• Provide mechanical expertise to improve plant performance and reliability.
• Work in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Contribute to improvement activities and technical investigations.

Skills and requirements

• Ideally be qualified to HNC level, typically gained through a craft or modern apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
• Experience within a plant or heavy industrial environment.
• A strong understanding of mechanical systems and safety protocols.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
