Mechanical Plant Engineer focuses on repair plant equipment and machinery.
What the role involves
- Repair plant equipment and machinery.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault finding.
- Managing spare parts stock.
- Supporting design and development of new equipment.
- Supporting production by ensuring all equipment is fully operational.
Skills and requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar position.
- Strong mechanical engineering skills.
- IOSH or NEBOSH (desirable).
Confirmed role details
- Type: Permanent.
- Monday – Friday 07:00 – 16:00, with potential for overtime.
