Mechanical Plant Maintenance Engineer focuses on ensure the uninterrupted supply of energy to commercial and residential customers.
What the role involves
- Ensure the uninterrupted supply of energy to commercial and residential customers.
- PPM and reactive maintenance on CHP, generators, combustion engines.
- Maintaining district heating, chilled water and power networks.
- Use PLC and SCADA to monitor plant.
- Ensure full HSE compliance including Legionella standards.
- Supporting upgrades, replacements and network extensions.
Skills and requirements
- 5+ years mechanical plant maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, valves and HVAC systems.
- NVQ, City & Guilds or mechanical apprenticeship qualified.
