Mechanical Plant Maintenance Engineer focuses on ensure the uninterrupted supply of energy to commercial and residential customers.

What the role involves

  • Ensure the uninterrupted supply of energy to commercial and residential customers.
  • PPM and reactive maintenance on CHP, generators, combustion engines.
  • Maintaining district heating, chilled water and power networks.
  • Use PLC and SCADA to monitor plant.
  • Ensure full HSE compliance including Legionella standards.
  • Supporting upgrades, replacements and network extensions.

Skills and requirements

  • 5+ years mechanical plant maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, valves and HVAC systems.
  • NVQ, City & Guilds or mechanical apprenticeship qualified.
