Mechanical Project Engineer focuses on coordinating internal and third-party mechanical designs.

What the role involves

  • Coordinating internal and third-party mechanical designs.
  • Review P&IDs, BIM models, GA drawings, and supplier technical submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with WIMES and client specifications.
  • Supporting technical subcontractor evaluations and procurement activities.
  • Managing long-lead mechanical equipment and procurement schedules.
  • Overseeing subcontractor technical compliance and delivery Onsite.

Skills and requirements

  • Degree, HND or HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong UK water/wastewater project experience.
  • Knowledge of pumps, pipework, package plant, valves, screening, dosing, and hydraulics.
  • Experience with BIM/3D design reviews and AutoCAD.
