Mechanical Systems Manager focuses on to ensure and promote safe working conditions for all employees, visitors and contractors by implementing, monitoring and complying with occupational health & safety provisions.

Skills and requirements

  • Minimum of level 4 qualification in mechanical engineering or related engineering subject is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working in a facilities/building service role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of current regulations and standards relevant to mechanical building services and systems.
  • Assessed level membership of relevant professional body e.g., IMechE or CIBSE required.

Additional role context

  • Support of all mechanical building services, mechanical systems and equipment under the control of the Estates and Facilities function, throughout the UK & Ireland estate.
  • Commissioning & Monitoring of plant and systems including creation, management & delivery of maintenance schedules.
  • Development, management, and maintenance of as built drawings.
