Mechanical Technician focuses on carry out maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on mechanical equipment and production systems.
What the role involves
- Carry out maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on mechanical equipment and production systems.
- Install, commission, and modify machinery and automation systems.
- Test, and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and automation components.
- Work closely with engineering, automation, and electrical teams to resolve technical issues.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
- Provide technical support to meet production targets.
Skills and requirements
- Recognised engineering qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
- Experience with precision tools, alignment, and calibration.
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical/pneumatic systems.

- £30k to £35k (DOE) + attractive benefits package.

- 7.45am – 5.45pm, Monday to Thursday (38 hours per week).
