Medicines Management Specialist focuses on provide clinical input on side effects and medication safety in collaboration with prescribers.

What the role involves

  • Provide clinical input on side effects and medication safety in collaboration with prescribers.
  • Overseeing all repeat prescriptions (NHS and private), ensuring alignment with titration outcomes and clinical recommendations.
  • Supporting and quality-check the implementation of the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) for ADHD medications.
  • Support patients as they move between episodes of care.
  • To participate in the development and delivery of the ADHD Service, to ensure continuity of supply of medicines.
  • Liaise with the in-house cardiac physiologist to assess.
