Job description
As a Mental Health Support Assistant, the work centres on the school is based near Woking and provides support for children aged 9-16 years who have a range of learning and behavioural needs due to social, emotional and mental health chal. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Role overview
The school provides a safe learning environment for children who suffer with high levels of anxiety which can result in a lack of focus and challenging behaviour. The school also provides therapies such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music, speech and language therapies where these are part of the young person’s EHCP.
Main responsibilities
The school is based near Woking and provides support for children aged 9-16 years who have a range of learning and behavioural needs due to social, emotional and mental health chal. Mental Health Support Assistant - Trauma – Youth Work - Woking. All students that attend the school have a designated Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) which details their specific needs in terms of the care and support they will have access to.

- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.

- Job Type: Long term agency contract: £89-£105 per day.
