Military Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician
Military Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician focuses on proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
What the role involves
- Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
- Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
- Supporting the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
- Our RME Technicians are based on-site, so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues.
- Carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites’ equipment to make sure it’s working safely.
- Working alongside senior colleagues, you’ll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and will liaise with contractors if you need external expertise.
Skills and requirements
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds EAL, SVQ/IVQ, BTEC all.
- Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
- Please be prepared to provide proof of qualifications obtained as part of Amazon’s Terms of Employment.
