As a Mobile Assistant Janitor, the work centres on base – St Brides PSMobile Assistant Janitor – Lock Up - 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday 05:30pm – 9:30pm, on a40-week contract. It would suit someone who can bring reliability, clear communication, and practical judgement to the role.

What you need

  • Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
  • Have the ability to travel to other locations within the specified area of work as required - a current Driving Licence is required for council vehicles.
  • Driver’s licence required for Council Vehicle provided to carry out duties.

Practical information

  • We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.64 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
  • Mobile Assistant Janitor (Lock-Up) based at St Brides PS, Cowdenbeath, covering all janitorial duties along with cleaning and school crossing patrols in the area as required.
