Mobile Electrical Engineer focuses on perform reactive maintenance and troubleshooting across electrical systems.

What the role involves

  • Perform reactive maintenance and troubleshooting across electrical systems.
  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
  • Conduct fault finding, repairs, and minor installations.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and procedures.
  • Inspect systems and proactively identify.
  • Supporting cross-skilled tasks (mechanical, fabric, etc.) when required.

Skills and requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical qualifications.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Testing & Inspection qualifications (2391 or 2394 & 2395 preferred).

Confirmed role details

  • Duration: 3–6 months (potential extension).
  • 40 hours per week.

Candidate fit

  • IPAF 3a & 3b certification.
