As a Motor Vehicle Skills Assessor in Assessing Vocational Achievement, the work centres on day-to-day you’ll be: Visiting learners in their workplace to deliver coaching, assessment and support. It would suit someone who can bring reliability, clear communication, and practical judgement to the role.

Day-to-day you’ll be: Visiting learners in their workplace to deliver coaching, assessment and support. The set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37 hours per week.

Practical details

  • Salisbury, Wiltshire + Fully Remote + Frequent Travel to Sites.
  • Monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion of all programme components.
  • Advising learners on portfolio building and meeting programme requirements.
  • Recording and tracking learner progress in line with reporting processes.

What needs to be in place

  • Vehicle Mechanic Level 3 Qualification (minimum Level 3).
  • Reservists in the armed forces receive 10-days special paid leave.
  • Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent).
