This is a varied, front-line engineering role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, working closely with clients, and taking ownership of site standards. You’ll be the first point of response for M&E and fabric issues, ensuring maintenance is delivered safely, professionally, and with minimal disruption to the client.
If you take pride in your work, enjoy autonomy, and want to be part of a supportive and professional FM team — this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing

Acting as the first line of response for M&E and fabric-related issues
Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure building systems operate effectively
Completing statutory compliance tasks across facility services
Updating and maintaining records via Infraspeak CAFM system
Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard, within budget and in line with client expectations
Supporting and managing subcontractors for routine and reactive works, ensuring RAMS compliance and quality assurance
Providing technical M&E advice and guidance to the client where required
Liaising with project teams and contributing technical insight to ongoing works
Supporting wider site initiatives including health & safety, risk assessments, utilities, security and resilience planning
Communicating planned works clearly to the client to minimise service disruption
Identifying opportunities for innovation and system improvements
Supporting wider FM functions during periods of resource constraint
Participating in the on-call rota (approximately one week per month)
What We’re Looking For
Strong M&E maintenance background within a commercial environment
Confident fault finder and independent problem solver
Experience delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance
Comfortable managing contractors and ensuring safe systems of work
IT confident, able to update CAFM systems and digital records
Professional, reliable and client-focused
Flexible and willing to support additional sites when required
A team player with the ability to build strong working relationships
The Right Person
You’ll take pride in delivering a high-quality service.
You’ll be punctual, dependable and adaptable.
You’ll bring a “can do” mindset and be willing to step in where needed.
You’ll represent Pareto FM professionally at all times.
