Multi Skilled Engineer

Multi Skilled Engineer focuses on carry out planned preventative maintenance (ppm) across extrusion and converting machinery.

What the role involves

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across extrusion and converting machinery.
• Repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Fault-find on motors, drives, inverters, sensors, and pneumatic systems.
• Repair vacuum conveying systems including vac pumps, hoppers.
• Supporting maintenance of blown film extrusion lines and downstream equipment.
• Carry out strip down, inspection.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Is electrically biased (60/40 split) and suits someone confident working in a fast-paced, 24/7 production-style environment.
• Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00.
• 1 week on call every 3 weeks paid at x1.5.
• 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
