Music Teacher focuses on delivering engaging and high-quality music lessons across key stages 3 and 4 (ks5 experience desirable but not essential).
What the role involves
- Delivering engaging and high-quality Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
- Deliver a broad and balanced Music curriculum, including performance, composition, listening skills, and music theory.
- Inspire creativity, confidence, and self-expression among students through practical and theoretical music learning.
- Organise and contribute to extracurricular music clubs, performances, concerts, and school events.
- Encourage participation and inclusion for students of all abilities and musical backgrounds.
- Monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Candidate fit
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Music at secondary level is preferred.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
