Skills and requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach both practical and theoretical elements of Music.
• Ability to play at least one instrument to a high standard (multiple instruments advantageous).
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

Confirmed role details

• This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about developing students’ musical ability and co.

Candidate fit

• Delivering engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 available depending on experience).
• Teaching performance, composition, and music theory in line with the national curriculum and exam specifications.
• Preparing students for GCSE and/or A-Level Music where applicable.
