Network Bridges Manager
Network Bridges Manager focuses on supporting the operating company’s representative to ensure delivery of the director’s requirements.
What the role involves
- Supporting the Operating Company’s Representative to ensure delivery of the Director’s requirements.
- Act as the main point of liaison with Transport Scotland, ensuring compliance with the Network Management Contract.
- Collaborate with the Planned Maintenance and Operations Managers to ensure structural requirements are fully integrated into maintenance planning and delivery.
- Overseeing the outline and detailed design of bridge maintenance schemes, including technical approval and certification.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, or manage submissions for Departures from Standard where required.
- Lead tender evaluations through to contract award.
Skills and requirements
- Educated to degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- A full approved UK driving licence.
- Pension scheme with up to 6% employer match.

- Design, procurement, and delivery of bridge maintenance schemes across a diverse portfolio of over 850 structures.
