Network Development Engineer focuses on design network topologies and services to meet evolving requirements, and create supporting documentation.
What the role involves
- Design network topologies and services to meet evolving requirements, and create supporting documentation.
- Maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and VoIP infrastructure across Studio locations.
- Monitoring network performance, respond to real-time alerts, and troubleshoot connectivity issues across wired, wireless, and VoIP systems.
- Support on-site compute, server, and storage platforms that enable production data workflows and media asset handling.
- Resolve user-reported issues through the ticketing system while maintaining documentation of resolutions and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors during outages or installations.
Skills and requirements
- Test-netconnection, tracert, tracetcp, iperf, ntttcp, dig, and packet capture tools), or experience in managing and troublshooting network and experience with automation and any ve.
- Bachelor's degree, or experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Networking Engineering).
- Demonstrated professional experience in network engineering, development, or operations.
- Experience with enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, or equivalent).
