Job description
This Night Attendant role is focused on work confidently as the primary adult on shift, while liaising with the wider residential and school team. It would suit someone who can bring maintaining a calm, reassuring presence and respond quickly and appropriately to any needs during the night to the role.
Who the work supports
Night Attendant – Special School Residential Provision. Support with personal care, dressing/undressing and morning routines where required.
How support shows up
Work confidently as the primary adult on shift, while liaising with the wider residential and school team. Monitoring pupils as required and keep accurate records and logs.

Maintaining a calm, reassuring presence and respond quickly and appropriately to any needs during the night. Strong professional approach.
What needs to be in place
- Level 3 qualification (such as L3 Caring for Children & Young People, Health & Social Care, CYPW or equivalent).
Job details
- A caring, reliable and confident Night Attendant to support the pupils within our residential setting.
- Duration – Until December 2025 – Term time.
- Temporary / Fixed-term options available.
- Waking night shifts, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
