What the role involves
- Provide high-quality telephone counselling and online CBT support.
- Assess client needs and direct to appropriate support.
- Managing distressed clients, safeguarding issues, and risk concerns.
- Record all interactions accurately on internal systems.
- Complete training and use skills in trauma, suicide, and safeguarding.
- Meet individual and team goals, managing calls and enquiries efficiently.
Skills and requirements
- Registered with a recognised professional counselling body.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced helpline environment.
- Strong computer and CRM skills.
- Experience handling safeguarding and suicidal ideation.
Confirmed role details
- £30,000–£34,000 FTE (£27,000–£30,600 actual for 33.75 hours) + £3,000 overnight bonus.
